This set of subpages contains basic information about how to write successful academic papers. Hopefully you learned most of this in ENGL 1101 and 1102, so it's here as a refresher. These are things that I often find even advanced English majors needing some reminders on, so after you get that first paper back (better yet, before you turn it in!), remind yourself of some of the key elements of effective academic prose.
