Medieval on My Mind: The Past, Present, and Future of Manuscripts in the Deep South April 4–5, 2025 Friday, 4 April will be our UGA Symposium on the Book events, featuring keynote talks from Dr. Jessica Brantley (Yale University), Dr. Scott Gwara (University of South Carolina), and hands-on workshops with UGA's medieval manuscripts and related artists' books. Saturday, 5 April we partner with the Georgia Medieval Group to offer panels of papers from Georgia and regional medievalists on Southern medievalisms and the legacy of the Middle Ages in the deep South. Saturday's events will feature a keynote by Dr. Elizabeth Pastan (Emory University). Specifics coming in March!
